We had reserved a table in the shade. Was then occupied by other guests. 😢. Explanation: The other guests have seniors with them🤔. We celebrated my mother-in-law's 83rd birthday. Isn't a senior citizen yet 😭

Very idyllic location, where you can sit outside in Corona times. The service was very friendly. The food unfortunately does not do justice to the price. In particular, the salads, which obviously consist of packaged, pre-cut salads with ready-made dressing, are a no-go and even more so for the high price level. The tarte flambee was good, but also clearly overpaid at just under ten euros.

We heard about the restaurant by chance and were positively surprised after the long journey. The restaurant is idyllically situated on a hill and the view of the valley is wonderful. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered the classic: schnitzel with french fries and a salad with Mediterranean vegetables. The schnitzel was quite manageable and looked somehow pressed into shape. The taste was OK. The salad, however, was a joke for a restaurant which offers it for € 15.90. It consisted of plucked lettuce leaves, as you know them from the discounter, ready-made dressing and Mediterranean vegetables (stuffed mini tomatoes and peppers) also known from the grocery market (stuffed mini tomatoes and peppers) about 1/4 feta cheese and silver onions - what they with Mediterranean vegetables remained an open question. In terms of taste, the food was then also rather average and has no relation to the very high prices. For the money I would have expected more - and above all manual work. We will probably not visit the restaurant again.

Really amazingly good food at great prices with great outdoor facilities. I recommend reserving a place in good time as it is really well attended. My thanks to them for such talent. Uses regional meat which is also great.

Beautiful food is there all first cream. If you are near you should definitely eat there. the service is also very good.

Located somewhat remote I wouldn't have found it if it weren't for my friends who took me there. The restaurant specializes in beef, locally sourced, dry age in varieties from Burger to tomahawk steak. You also get pizza (which supposedly "not italian, but still very good") or very good schnitzel.service is very warm and friendly, the food is simple and concentrates on the quality. Price and quality are well matched. In the summer month you could use the long incline to the Katzenbacher as for cycling training or ignore it and get there by car to enjoy the outdoors seating and cakes. Reservation is recommended.
